This book is about the history behind the typeface Bodoni. Bodoni is a typeface similar to what is seen on vogue covers. From this I made the loose connection to Ballroom culture, which creating the style of dancing called vogueing, inspired by the magazine. Ballroom is a subculture created by and for Black and POC queer people, and originated in NYC in the 1970s. This short book chronicles the significance of Bodoni and Ballroom and their cultural impacts. The book is 8x10 inches and all of the spreads are below. InDesign and Photoshop were used in this project.
